I’m relatively new at Twitter so I read a lot of posts like this. I’m thrilled to see your #FF advice because I’ve found it a bit confusing when people fill my timeline with random/excessive #FF, and initially I was doing as you suggest – with a reason to follow 1 or 2 accounts – but I noticed others weren’t doing it so I stopped. Now I’m going back to that – it makes sense!

My pet hate is people RT’ing their Follow Friday mentions or other compliments. If I already follow someone I don’t need them to keep telling me how wonderful they are – they need to do something wonderful/interesting.
