We’re here to help our customers and potential customers and we NEVER hard sell – this includes ensuring we don’t send you email spam.

As required by the Data Protection Act 1998, our privacy policy is as follows:

– If you subscribe via our website, your name and email address will be stored. We only use your email address to send you occasional news or tips which we believe may be of interest to you, never more than one per month, and with a cast iron guarantee that we’ll respect your wishes if you subsequently choose to opt out!

– Contact details submitted through our contact form will also be stored and used in order to respond to your query or request.

– We will never sell your details to anyone else, or supply them to a third party without your express permission (for example, if you ask us to refer you to a trusted partner who can supply a particular service that we can’t).

– If you would like to review the information we hold on you, please email us using the link on our Contact page, and we will be pleased to supply that information on payment of a £25 administration fee.

Cookie Use

What cookies do we use?

There are two types of cookie we currently use.

1) Session cookies. When you can access our free blog posts, a cookie is placed on your computer by our content management system (CMS) WordPress, which uses a session cookie. This temporary cookie is not used for tracking purposes, it’s an essential, “strictly necessary” part of providing content to you through our CMS.

2)  We also use  web services provided by other companies to improve the experience for users of RoseMcGrory.co.uk and to help us  improve our content.

The web service we use is  Google Analytics, to analyse the use of this website.  Google Analytics generates anonymous statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers.  The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Refusing cookies

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies.

In Internet Explorer, you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector.
